India is a beautiful country with a rich history, culture, and natural beauty.  It has something for every type of traveler, from bustling cities to peaceful countryside. Bangladesh tourists, in particular, are showing an increasing interest in visiting India.  However, before travelling to India, BD citizens must obtain a visa. 
In this blog, we will go over the ways to get an India tourist visa for Bangladeshi, the requirements for obtaining a visa, and some travel tips for India.


Ways to get an Indian tourist visa for Bangladeshi: Bangladesh visitors can also apply for a visa at the India embassy or consulate in BD. An embassy visa usually takes 5-10 working days to process.  The embassy visa allows BD visitors to stay in India for up to 90 days.

Steps to get an India E-Visa:

●Step 1: Go to the Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) official website and click on Apply for e-Visa.

●Step 2: Fill out your personal information on the website and upload a digital copy of your passport and a passport-sized photograph.

●Step 3: Pay the e-visa fees using any of the supported payment methods.

●Step 4: Passport, in original, with a minimum validity of six months as on the date of submission of application for visa. The passport should have at least two (2) blank pages.

●Step 5: Old passports must be submitted with the application form.

●Step 6: Wait for the visa to be processed. The processing time is usually 5-10 working days.

●Step 7: Check the official website of Indian’s e-visa for your approval letter. To access it, enter your registration code, date of birth, and email address.

●Step 8: Once your e-visa is approved, print a copy to show to the immigration officer at the Inda international airport to enter the country.

●Note: There are a lot of websites that charge extra for the e-visa. Always make sure that you are only applying for it through the official website! The cost of a visa is exactly 850tk ($8.5), and if you are paying more for it, it’s not the right website.
